I'm extremely pleased with this electric blanket - it fits the mattress perfectly, with heat right to the edges of the bed. It doesn't move around when you sleep on it. The controls are easy to use and easily accessible, with the part that is attached to the blanket under the pillow so is not in the way at all. The dual controls are perfect for our lifestyle of going to bed at different times - I turn my side on half an hour before I go to bed and his side on just before I go to sleep. And because of its thick fleece material, you don't feel any of the wires in the blanket. But the best bit is that it's like getting into a warm bath when I get into bed now, which is absolute heaven now the house feels colder.

We are delighted with our kingsize electric blanket, which replaced a superking one that we had on our previous bed. They were both manufactured by Homefront. We particularly appreciate the deep "skirt" which tucks under the mattress, having in the distant past messed about with very unsatisfactory tapes. We would certainly recommend it.

Hi, Can I use a timer plug for a dual control blanket? Or do you have king size electric blankets with just one controller? Many thanks Melanie

This comes with dual control but no timer. It can be used all night if required. It is not suitable to be used with a plug in timer.

Is there a timer on the blanket so you can set it to turn off during the night after an hour or more

This version comes with 3 heat settings but no timer function.

The Premium fleecy version has 9 body and feet settings and 10 timer settings. It can be used all night on H.

How far up the bed Does the actual heating elements go.

The heating elements start approximately 50cm from the top of the bed and finish approximately 7cm from the bottom of the bed.

How far from the edge (side and top) is the connector box of the cable to the switch? Thanks.

The controller is at shoulder height near the edge of the blanket.

What is the depth of the fitted skirt?

It is approximately 40 cms.
