Best sleeping blanket ever. It fits the whole mattress. No messy strings or elasticated tapes that break or come loose. The fleece on its own stops the cold. Independent controls on each side, and even more independent controls for the body and the feet make this ideal for me, as I used to suffer from winter cramps in my calves and feet. Not any more. Had an older model on a king size bed which was fantastic, and searched for this double bed option. Nothing else will do now.

I bought this electric blanket for my daughter as her bedroom has three external walls and is always cold. She is thrilled. It has transformed her space, her room feels more inviting and restful as her bed is warm. She even has to evict her sisters, who slip upstairs, pop her blanket on and toast themselves under the cover. I am really pleased that it has 2 separately controlled sides, making it truly user friendly, and it can be washed. A great product. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend. Other comparable products I looked at before making this purchase didn't seen to stay in place well and this does, so all round I am very happy

This product has proved to be excellent, so far. It warms up very quickly compared to other competitors. The zone feature is excellent whereby separate temperatures can be set independently for feet and body. My only gripe is that it arrived poorly folded in its packaging which meant that there were folds in the wiring which are proving difficult to smooth out as recommended in the instruction booklet. Homefront please take note of this issue!

I am very pleased with my electric blanket. It fits the bed very securely, heats up quickly, and the 9 temperature settings mean I can find the perfect temperature for me. I like to put it high to warm the bed to feel very cosy before I get in, and then change to a setting of 2 or 3 before I go to sleep. I love that I can choose different temps for my feet and torso. The controls are very easy to use and the 9-hour timer is an excellent feature. I am sleeping better and more comfortably now that I am using this blanket. Swift delivery, too.

Hi. is it safe to actually be in the bed when the electric blanket in on? many thanks - they are wonderful blankets!

Yes, they are safe to use all night or when required when you are in your bed.

Good afternoon, will the blanket fit a double sized mattress that is extra deep (38cm)? Do you stock any double sized blankets to fit such a depth? Thank you.

The deep elastic skirt is approximately 40cm.

How do I wash the electric blanket?

Cleaning instructions are as follows:

Do not dry clean the blanket. The blanket has waterproof heating elements making it safe to immerse in water and wash by machine. Always remove the controller first. Do not allow any of the controllers to be immersed in any liquid.

Remove the controller. Place in a washing machine (size permitting) Wash on a WOOL or DELICATES cycle with a neutral detergent or mild soap powder at a wash temperature of 30'c. Do not use high speeds or extra spin cycles.

Do the fixed parts of the elements need to come off somehow before washing? I have unplugged the part that plugs into the element on blanket.

No, please disconnect the controller with the plug attached. Wash on a delicate wash with no additional spins.

What side is the controller on the fleece single electric blanket?

The single-size controller is on the left side when you are standing at the bottom of the bed and on the right-hand side when you are in bed.

Please use heat setting 6 to 9 to heat the bed for 15 minutes before going to bed.

Yes, it is dual-controlled and will require two electric sockets.

How far from the edge (from side and top) is the box/connector of the cable to the controller?

The controller connection is at shoulder height near the edge of the electric blanket.

Is this electric blanket manufactured in UK

No, they are not manufactured in the UK.

I have an odd sized bed and mattress measuring 164cm x 190 cm and depth of 30 cm- which of your heated blankets would best suit please- my sister has just purchased the king size one and is very pleased but I cannot try it as I live in France! I am worried that the king will be too long and not wide enough but the double will be too small. Thanks

Unfortunately, the Electric Blankets only fit a standard U.K bed size. They are available in Single, Double, King Size or Super King Size.

I have several of these for the various beds in the house , but need to wash one and have forgotten the washing instruction . I know it can be cleaned in the washing machine . Can it be tumbled dried as well ?

We would advise you to wash on a 'wool' or 'delicates' cycle at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Do not use high speed or extra spin cycles. This is not suitable to be tunble dried. Always disconnect both controllers before washing.

How long does it take to heat up? My current blanket takes to long and i’m looking to replace it.

The fast heat up takes around 10 to 15 minutes to heat up.

Is this blanket BEAB approved?

This complies to CE EMC ROHS standard's.

Can foot area be switched on separately without having to use the complete blanket

The body and the feet area can be controlled separately, so you can only heat the area sutiable to your requirements.

Can this blanket be bought with a single control ?

Is it safe to be used on a memory foam mattress?

No, the benefits of the memory foam mattress will be diminished with having the electric blanket between your body and the mattress.

Hi, can this blanket be used with a time switch at the wall socket, or will any settings be lost if turned off by the time switch? Thanks in advance

No, the manufacturer advise not to be used with a timer switch.
